UT room work - cost?

Trying to get an idea of costs - but everyone Ive spoken to want to look first. Understandable BUT I dont own the house yet (buying) and currently live in Belfast. i need a "rough" idea for budget purposes.
So - the UT room has power but no plumbing. I need a vent for the tumble dryer putting in, with some possible conduiting to take the vebnt from the outside wall to an inside wall where the dryer will be situated. I also need a water feed, and waste pipe for a washing machine. The UT room is almost below the bathroom, and Im assuming this is where the feed will come from - so a pipe may well need dropping down from the Bathroom. Im assumning the wast pipe from the bathroom can be tapped into for the washing machine waste.
I dont need specifics - just a rough time for the work (1 hour, 1/2 day, 3 days etc) and a rough cost (between £100 and £300, or between £500 and £750 kind of range).
So - anyone any ideas on this one?

Are you going to buy this house? If so ask EA if you can do a viewing so you can bring the builder round with you... If the person is seriuos about selling, trust me they won't have a problem with it.
We did this when buying our new house recently in Belfast. Builder was alos able to point out other small areas of concern which actually made us drop our asking price (Still accepted though)
doesn't sound too big a job to be honest.
Good Luck0 -
We are buying the house - waiting for final searches and exchange of contracts. Thing is the house is in Nottingham - Im in Belfast. I wont be back in the mainland until I move into the house - hence why we cant get the builder round.
I know its not a huge job, but as Im a FTB I really dont have a clue. Coule be £200 could be £600, could be £1k. At the moment Im blind - and want a ballpark figure for this kind of work.0 -
Ahhhh, in my view makes it easier as EA's in GB do actually work for their money unlike the plebs here in Northern Ireland!! You obviously potentially have someone lined up to do the work so why not get them to go look at the house with the EA if it's just a ballpark figure you want. If EA has a Lettings devision, they would also have plumbers/handymen on their books who would go and look at it to give you a ballpark figure...0
