    I've been Money Tipped!
Lamewolf - you should see the way he brandishes his furry marbles - he has no shame, he is a tom cat. He is a tom in the Greebo mould. He was trying to take on the two dogs next door the other day, and both are bigger than him.

He has a massive territory that includes a wide variety of areas and the common theme is that he gives good cuddles and that he is a complete thug with all animals. Lots of people feed him. The black cat that lives at the funeral parlour (yes!) has been drifting down and squabbling with the huge tom next door because it is being chased out of a prime hunting patch (next to the beck, nothing to do with the funeral parlour). The huge tom next door, Oscar, has walloped the ginger gentleman enough times so that the ginger gentleman now skirts that garden a little if he thinks Oscar is there, but Oscar has been done and has no furry dice and is pulling the fur out of his rear end due to stress and nerves.

Actually, it is sort of a relief that the main source of stress in the street is ginger, four legged and a lot of the problem would be solved with castration.

WS: I can think of a lot of problems that would be solved with castration. And not just of cats. :D

Hi all have been lurking for a while but not posted before. Hugs for everyone a bit under the weather. Hi LW hope you're ok and everyone else too. Been busy here had lots of sewing to do so did it while supervising kids getting ready for school for the last 2 mornings, will probably be at it all week. My washing machine was broken and it's just been fixed so atm am busy loadin and pegging out. Have still got to walk the dog yet and hoping to get a bit more decluttering done later.

    Afternoon All

Just one more morning to go at school and then the holidays begin! Will be sad to leave that school and all my friends but need to go for my sanity. Not really looking forward to starting a new school but I will hopefully find something else before then.

Just changed the beds, will take the bedding up to work to give it a wash as I am in on my own (about the only perk of working where I do in the evenings!). Also going to wash a quilt that was dirtied in the fire, the insurance company say it will have to be disposed of but it doesn't smell and the marks on it are from the firemen's gloves so should wash off. Wouldn't mind but it is about the best one in the house!

Also dusted and hoovered the living room and put the other washing on the airers (it's raining after a promising start).

My mind has gone blank, but hugs to those having a sad/bad time at the moment. Take care. XX

MH-oh your poor mum .Hope she's not in too much pain.
Thats why I never let Leo off the lead -he isnt likely to jump up at anyone but you just never know, and for me its not worth the risk of someone getting knocked over by a 10st dog.(Luckily we have plenty of space for him to run around once the gates are shut)
Judi-hope you feel better after a sleep.
Camelot-I felt sad to leave my school,a few years back, but worth it for the cessation of stress.Hope you find something you really like.

Men have just arrived home, chicken is cooked, just waiting for the chips now.Still some pavlova left, and berries, but no cream:(
I have been decluttering all day and am feeling tired now-hope there 's something good on the box tonight,I've finished my book too so need to hunt out another.
Have a good evening everybody x

    Welcome lizzie :)

Home from work, and absolutely shattered :( this cough is doing my head in! Got lots done in work, and the printer is finally working! I'm so glad I'm OS as I have freezer full of different HM meals to pick from for an easy tea.

I showed my boss the email I had yesterday, and she has forwarded it to the big boss, and told me to keep it for my next 1to1 :D

    Afternoon all
Well I'm getting lots of complaints at work, so I must be doing something right, lol.
My line manager is backing me & will step in upon request, the main people complaining are youngish teachers who are still under the impression that they are more important members of the human race than us mere support/admin staff. I'm giving as much grief as I'm getting & making some people's life very awkward, tough, I'm sorry, they earn triple what I do, they just need to get organised & prepare their lessons earlier than 10 minutes before they start.
I'm not allowed to lock my door as it is a fire risk!! But I do have a large wooden wedge that will now, sometimes get stuck under my door!
After all the problems with us losing £100 a month of our wages, 2 staff members have been told they are no longer to take a lunch break as they don't work enough hours & one colleague has been told that she's losing £500 pa as she's been paid for holiday work that she doesn't do, we are not a happy bunch at the moment!
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
