I think so. So a poly unsaturated fat due its free bonds can bond with some of the bad stuff to help cart it away?

    Not quite.

Free bonds don't cart off bad stuff I'm afraid. :( There are less carbon-hydrogen bonds in unsaturated fats, which means they have less energy than saturated fats i.e. they have fewer calories.

That's one reason why they're healthier. Unsaturated fats also lower LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol), but I don't know the process behind that.

    :o

Basically, stick with foods high in unsaturated fats but don't avoid saturated fats; your body does need that type of fat too.

    :)

I'm new to this APG (new acronym to remember!) stuff and was going to write it off but as they give an 0800 number specifically to call them re errors I thought it was worth a try. They offered to refund onto a giftcard (and rounded it up to the nearest £) or take the receipt details and escalate the issue. I said I was happy enough just to get the money back. Now if it had been Tesco ;) Speaking of which, still awaiting 2 refunds from last week so have been on to them as well this morning. Won't hold my breath for the promised returned call as it never happened last week!

At least they have a dedicated team  oh and good luck with Mr T!
Anyone got price checks back yet?

nope not yet. hoping for them to come any minute.
