Heavy hearts all round this morning.
Mrs 3 Dogs you have shown courage in helping Alan through his last journey, and by sharing with us, and you will help others to reflect when they are called on to do the same.
My thoughts are with you and those dearest to you.
Take care what you do on the way up, it may come back at you on the way down.
    Kindness costs nothing.

    Hi all :)

A sad morning on this thread.

I don`t post here now but just popped in to say I am very sorry to hear the sad news about Mr 3 Dogs.

This gave me strength when a loved one of mine died.....
    For Susan and Alan x.....

    Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other
    That we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes
    We enjoyed together.

Play, smile, think of me, pray for me,
Let my name be ever the household word that
    It always was.

Let it be spoken without effort,
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
    There is absolutely unbroken continuity.

Why should I be out of mind because I am
Out of sight? I am but waiting for you
    For an interval
    Somewhere very near
    Just around the corner .

    All is well.

Hugs to all who need them
    Leenie x
