Really? I never had anything, I complained but got fobbed off lots by the FB team.

Leave them running see if it clears, ask the neighbours if theirs is okay. I can remember all our neighbours knocking on each others doors with glasses of brown water must have been something to do with the water board.

We decided to go to T's for a couple of hours I think it was a leak in the next road & we couldn't use the toilet so we went out.

You maybe need one of the guys to answer your query really.

If the cold water is fine, then I would assume mains water is still running correctly, no burst pipes in the area etc, but try running the cold water longer, to be sure.

If it's the hot water only, then maybe tank/immersion problem?
