I just stood there smug having only paid about £4 after APGs for £60+ of goodies :j Oh and another two 99.99% guaranteed APGs tomorrow plus 2 wombles. This is the life
Naaaaah, thats rubbish
This is from A's "Question and Answers" page:
I've made two successful claims so have two vouchers; can I use them both in one shop?
Yes just present them to the checkout operator to be discounted from your shopping.
I have used 5 in one transaction and got a £40.06 shop down to 3p. I didn't get an APG back from that particular shop but I was overcharged by 2p and so I got a refund of that 2p as well as a £2 giftcard. That was the first shopping trip where I made a profit :rotfl:

Hi all, haven't caught up, 20 pages to go but calling it a night. DD was up and happy at 5am :eek: Didn't get to sleep while 1am, then had to cook dinner for the inlaws today. Dinner for 8 = a doddle after christmas dinner for 9
Gosh can anyone remember that (that being me getting stressed and freaking out?!).
Anyway I just have to share my news with you all and ask for Miss Laids help of course, myself and OH have set a date for our wedding :T
It will be May next year, on our 6th anniversary
No idea where to start with things. I've booked the church and spoken to the place we want to hold the reception but no idea on numbers so they can't hold anything. Its the Holiday Inn Rotherham/Sheffield if anyone has wedding party experience there at all?
Anyway hope everyone is well and that children are recovering, and that happy birthdays were had, sorry I can't name name's
Good night x
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

Thank you both. See I thought I remembered reading here that someone had used loads and they were warned to be careful with the £100/month rule. I hadn't read the full terms & conditions but the SA wasn't to be messed with. She practically had the magnifying glass out and her attitude when she asked if I wanted the receipts back made me think I'd be accused of something if I did. Now I've read others on here say the staff have pocketed them I'm beginning to wonder as the receipts didn't go in the till.
Todays SA gave up comparing the vouchers & receipts by number 4 so just marked them both and gave me back the receipt to save time. Wearing my hair to the right must make me look more honest :rotfl:
Oh and speaking of giftcards, I got 20 Muller yogs/rice but didn't realise until I got home that the discount hadn't come off. Apparently there should be signs up saying maximum of 10 as "computer says no" at 15. Took a bloody age to get the refund sorted as the store has new tills in so casually mentioned the giftcard for the inconveniece and no problemNo one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -

Excellent shopping.
A couple of points though if I may.
You are a newbie and there has been a huge influx of newbies lately to this kind of savvy shopping. By hammering things in such an obvious way, it can sometimes get the backs up of those who work in the stores. Put yourself in their shoes and imagine how you might feel getting 7 quid an hour or less and watching some smartass waltz in and get their weekly shopping for £4. Then imagine them in the staff room whinging in front of managers and supervisors. Then of course people start getting 'trouted' or rules changed etc etc.
Not criticising your savings....in fact its admirable, just maybe worth keeping what we do a little more low key perhaps?0 -

I [STRIKE]resent[/STRIKE] resemble that comment :rotfl:
Yeah I know what you're saying but my heart lies with Tesco given the numerous mistakes they make. With that in mind, I was trying to get rid of the APGs. Maybe that's why the staff hold on to the receipts - to see what items are coming back with a good return. Just a thought. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0
