    Good morning to everyone :)

Hope none of our NI members are affected by the flooding over there.

Have a good day one and all.

Minor disaster already this morning, my mother managed to tip an almost full bottle of milk all over the kitchen floor ! Its gone under both freezers & it was like a flood ah well all cleaned up now NEXT !

How bad is the flooding in Belfast ? Many of the QPR staff & some supporters have flown to the funeral of Alan McDonald long serving QPR player & one time captain of Northern Ireland died suddenly on the golf course on Saturday morning aged 48

Belfast isn't good. I've a lot of friends & family there. Family so far seem ok but friends houses have flooded and if not the house then certainly the gardens & streets.

Oh and a gratuitous video showing fairly fit bloke in his kecks helping push a car - look for the video entitled Ladas Drive rescue.

Morning all, i have just spent the last two hours reading back over this thread and also 3Dogs diary page - which up until know i never knew existed. Would love to send my love to 3Dogs and Alan, just want you to know that i also am thinking of you and sending you much love as well as everyone else on here.

Still no fags for me have a few times reached out for the non existent fag - which I'm pleased to say is not there - still doing a lot of singing and have also been doing quite a bit of craft stuff to keep myself occupied which is why I'm not on here as much as normal, as i often sit outside on my balcony with my laptop, a cuppa and a fag but i know i need to change my ways so i can get out of my bad habits - so at the moment sitting outside with you guys is out of the window.

OH has said we should go abroad next week so we can get some us time which i think we really need, with everything that has gone on this year and now we don't have to pay for FIL's funeral we are in a much better position. Working away from home takes it toll and when i do get to go home we are never on our own, so have been scouring the internet for a cheap all inclusive for the week but so far not having a lot of joy - most things i have come across have been above £400 which i don't call cheap - i want a £200 job or less which i can normally find with no problem but not so it appears on this occasion. Did think of staying in UK but can't guarantee the weather and hate having too wear a coat and wellies at this time of the year and also some of the prices were more than the £400 each we have been quoted so far to go abroad!!!

If anyone knows of any all inclusive flying out sunday or monday preferably from anywhere in wales, southwest or birmingham i would love to hear from you. i know you guys come up with the stuff most of the time so thought i would ask. just going to have a look over on the holidays board and will be back.

take care all and much love bensonsmum xxxxx

Morning, feeling really rough here this morning :(

My DS was really bad last night we ended up having to take him to the hospital last night they gave him the nebuliser 3 times, gave him steroids and antibiotics as well as having to give him his inhalers, calpol and his hay fever meds.

We finally got to bed at 4.30am and then I had to be up at 6.30am for the other kids school runs.

DS is still not good this morning :(

Get well wishes coming his way (((HUGS))) Thunder and lightening just got to us in east yorks, Im terrified of lightening, when youngest daughter was 10 she was struck by a bolt of lightening whilst on my nephews bike, she had burn marks on the inside of her thighs where she had been touching the crossbar, her trainers and tyres saved her from much worse injury so the medical staff who attended to her said. Needless to say she won't go out when it is thunder and lightening!!
