DS has finally had some anti biotics - OH mixed them with some wench juice and conned him... Poor boy looks like he's been in a fight, his left eye is completely closed and the swelling is pushing his eye down into his cheek, he looks like the elephant man
It's quite shocking. So will put some anti biotic eye drops in his eye before i go to bed. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes
Glad that you managed to get him to take them.
Hope he feels better soon

I just don't know what to say because I'm in floods of tears and can barely see the screen.
Life can be so cruel and unfair.
I think so highly of you Susan and Alan. Mum came to see why I was sobbing and when I explained she started crying too. She asked where you live and how far it is away from us saying that we could come and see you (unfortunately it's 200 miles
) You're such an amazing lady, strong, brave and courageous that even my Mum, who has never spoken to you before and only knows what you're going through from me relaying your main updates, wants to come and give you a cuddle.
Sending all our love xxxxx :heart2:

Oh the little booger wound me up a treat. He kept nodding off and i'd move so it popped its head up and put its second leg down then by the time I'd refocussed it'd stuck its head back down and was off to sleep again!!! :rotfl:0 -

I even tried to iron a shirt, but I don't think I should do that one again!
and somehow since then the whole place has exploded - houses are for living in after all
...and a great whoopsie run tonight. made some ice lollies with whoopsied raspberries and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Yeah, but some of the Raviloi type ones I would be able to substitute for meat, so probs would work out cheaper than me buying chicken.lovingtescoforever wrote: »still seems expensive

I bought some whoopsed to 99p strawberries the other week & chanced the free 58p cream with them. The till only discounted 8p for the cream:( so still worked out at £1.49 for both, I would have been better off buying the fresher ones!Fudge_Cake wrote: »

Hope you're feeling better today :Axx
Much better thanks fudge
& just to make my day Dogs Trust rang to say they had some more puppies come in, so I hot footed it up there & have reserved a beautiful Lurcher cross:D
Suggestions for names would be appreciated, he's been called Bentley by the Dog Trust but Im not sure its a name I want to be shouting across a field! We could shorten it to Ben, but so far we've come up with Oscar, Perry, Ben & Coda, or DS1 would like Murdock or Malcolm?!0 -

We had to do this when my little boy had an ear infection. He was given the banana medicine (amoxycillin?) but he never takes anything - won't even let us give him calpol  - so we mixed it in with his milk and said it was banana milkshake and managed to get him to take the whole course
Hope your little one is better soon it's horrible when they are poorly.Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0 -
