i!!!!!!!!!!! wrote: »flip i knew it lol ive been working for the agency too long - what a chancer - in future if you get a call from the 'csa' i would explain that you have had this happen and ask for a number to call them back - this will allow you to ensure that you are speaking to who you think you are - how sneaky of her to do this to you
i dont know who called me but i tell you what is was exactly like the call from the offcial csa, although he did make some mistakes like telling me that maint could be backdated to when the child was born and the case was open for 180days??
so all of you with mental women like this i share your pain.
I only did the right thing, but some people, are just plain nuts.0 -
you have no idea to be honest, ive paid in my time more that the £42 a week she is getting.
Must be embarassing to hound a father when the PWC has never worked a day in her life.
Nope! No idea. Never worked a day in my life. Spend my time breeding countless children by countless fathers.
You were paying less than half your liability in child maintenance. That's fine if the mother agrees it. If she doesn't, then the CSA would be her only option. It's a bit daft to have got a friend to call but the end result is that the maintenance assessment is now correct (is it?). Don't pay any extras. If you've paid more in the past, you're now better off and mum is no doubt happier that she can rely on the £42 coming in every week.
Mum's working status is neither here nor there. You were more than happy to have sex with the woman - presumably that she didn't work didn't bother you then?!!!0 -
well the bloke from csa said they would backdate from when the child was born? i dont get it.
The CSA people who contact parents in those circumstances read from a script (from which they will not allow you to divert them) and would not claim that they can backdate to the birth of the child (they can't and wouldn't try to).
It sounds more as though its someone trying it on on behalf of the mother. Did you ever ring any of the CSA people back? If so, what number did you use? Are you sure it was a bona fide government office?0 -

i do overtime mabye twice a month aswell, this is the reason the ex wants more money.
i guess i would owe a fair bit of money if it gets backdated to the first claim, but the way this woman acts im just thinking it will be easier as she is not "the boss" as she tells me she is.
so its pay £40 a week and wait untill she wants more money and gets the arears or i have to let csa take controll of the whole situation and pay the correct money without arrears in the future.
From what you write the £30 is the standard assesment until they update their records from your payslips, from when the case was opened, as Kevin suggests, now that there is a case the CSA will write to you, no need to get into any debate with the child's Mum about what one thinks is due, as said you soon get used to paying and then it is one less avenue for agro, as for overtime, suppose you done OT one month but not the next, then since they assess over 2 months, then it is the average of the two wage slips.
The £12 difference will be arrears now and if you find your wages change in 12 months until the next assesment then you can request a re-assesment.0 -
thanks thats very useful. my only concern is i have done overtime say 2/3 times a month which takes wasges up to 350 but its not gauranteed overtime. some months i wont do any. Would i be correct in assuming if i lay off the overtime, get the wage back to 280 for say 6 months, then call csa up and get it all done officailly this will be ok? i am paying her £42 pounds from now and the case opened today.
My first assesement was made like that. I got a £1000 bonus at Xmas so it looked like my salary was £1000-tax etc more than it really was. made no difference. It appears to make no diffence once the assement is made how much you earn 1 month to the next as I am just finding out I am getting asked for full payment when I have been hospitilised and on SSP.you say dont pay anything direct? should i not pay her the £42 pounds this week and just let csa get on with it?.
Be careful with that as CSA told me to start paying them not direct any more but it appears I now have 2 months arrears dated back to when I first made all payments straight from my wages that I just found out about after 3 years.0 -
Any future problems you may have, be very weary. I'd stick with the CSA as you both know it's not liable to change, unless your financial circumstances change. However if you both decide to get rid of the CSA then make sure you write up a private contract between yourselves, this will give you the security you need.0
