My sister has a big birthday coming up in mid August and would like us all to go away for 3 or 4 nights. There are 7 of us all together 5 adults and 2 children, plus a dog.
They live in Manchester and don't want to travel too far if possible so anywhere in Cumbria, the Peak District, Yorkshire or even Wales is fine. Bath may ok at a push.
But she reckons she's looked 'everywhere' and they've all been booked for mid August.
Can anybody help? Do you have a 3 bed holiday home OR do you know where I am likely to find any at this late stage? We don't really have any other special requirements although a hot tub would be fantastic. I think that is pushing my luck though :rotfl:
EDITED TO SAY; A caravan or camping is no good, it has to be a cottage or similar.

Your biggest problem is trying to book 3 or 4 nights at a time when any home owner will be hoping to get a full weeks booking as its prime school holiday time. If you are willing to pay for a full week you might get somewhere but your chances of a part week are very slim as its likely to leave the rest of the week unused.
This is a possible but its not cheap (Bath - my area - don't know the house but its a nice village literally just outside Bath)
