  • Make sure you either get the seats behind the driver or the back seats ;) for legroom, they are long journeys depending on where your going but they are fun!

    Were are you going to?
We have been on coach holidays (Archers/Cosmos) overseas tours for the past three years and they have been great. There were plenty of single people but everybody was so friendly I'm sure nobody felt lonely (unless you want to be on your own). The coach has regular stops so people can stretch their legs. You also changed seats everyday so that nobody could complain at people having the extra leg room for the whole holiday, but it did give you chance to chat to different people.
Hope you have a good time.

Be aware of the dreaded 'feeder' coaches. I just came back from a 4 day holiday with a company that proudly proclaimed they didn't use feeder coaches. On the day, a rickety old bus drove us 50 miles over 2 hours, stopping twice to pick up, ( a journey that usually takes me 45 minutes) in the opposite direction to join with the main coach. We then took another 4 and a half hours to reach the destination. (I could have driven myself in about 3 hours, with a stop) Same thing on the way back. This was my first (and definitely my last) coach holiday.

Many years ago I worked for a coach company organising holidays, and you either love them or hate them. Best advice - make sure you pack your sense of humour!

One tip - Don't be the person who's always five minutes later than agreed getting back on the coach.

    Tip:

Check Shearings website on a Saturday/Sunday for 4 night trips leaving local area on the Monday.

Loads of tours available from just £99 (maybe litle higher in August and early Sept).

Great discounts IF you can go last minute.
