Leftover Bombay Aloo
Comments
-
Just wanted to post back to say I made soup and it was lovely!
Bombay aloo,
chicken stock,
a small piece of chicken breast I found in the freezer!
chickpeas, and a dash of fresh lemon juice.
Think it would also have been lovely with some green veg in it too.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
That sounds lovely. Did you blend any of the ingredients? If so were there any you kept whole?New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

Mashed the spuds (easier to do when the stock was added) and shredded the chicken breast with 2 forks.

Did consider using my ricer or hand blender on the spuds, but decided it would be nice roughly mashed rather than completely smooth.
It would really work however smooth/thick/thin/chunky, you prefer your soup though (my chickpeas were nice soft ones so they were lovely whole).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0
