Accidentally applied for same RBS credit card twice

I tried applying for the 0% credit card from RBS this evening and got accepted. I got through to the part where it told me my credit limit and asked me if i wanted protection for the cardholder. The page went blank and restarted so naively I have gone through the application again and it has been declined this time!
What can I do now because the relevant department is closed until the morning at RBS and I hope this won't affect my credit score in the future. Has anyone any advice?

I wouldn't worry. Probably declined you as you'd just been accepted on the original application.
I'm sure a call in the morning will straighten things out.0 -

What are you seeking by applying for a credit card?
e.g. Low rate balance transfer?
Low cost borrowing?
Cashback (if you plan on repaying in full every month)?0 -
Unsure lol
but, i did that and they gave me 2 ...but they were different links on the site.0 -

We are expecting a baby so we were getting a 0% purchases credit card just in case anything needed buying during my girlfriends maternity leave. It was basically to add as a safety net at 0% if you get what I mean?0 -

Have you considered applying for a Barclaycard instead? Like the RBS offering it gives 0% introductory interest on purchases, but only for 14 months (RBS is for 18 months I believe). If granted you'll also get offered a 0% balance transfer facilty. (but a 2.9% fee)
My experience with Barclaycard is, if you have a good credit history, they will keep offering similar deals as long as you keep the card0 -
I have a Barclaycard from my student days (It has something ridiculous like a £450 limit). I thought about closing a couple of my other and partners cards and just having the single RBS one.
I was just shocked when I saw the declined page on the website after 10 minutes before being offered nearly £4k as a credit limit!
I think I will ring them tomorrow and explain and hopefully they can wipe the second search off my record and complete my first search.0
