Ideas/help/advice on United States Multi-destination Holiday next April/May

Hi guys
So I want some advice/ideas on what to do for the big summer holiday next year.
I'm not going on a holiday this year as I have just graduated and I'm planning on spending the summer getting fit and healthy ready to go back to work in September. I was also in New York September past there and the Christmas before...spend lots so I wanna spend this year saving up!
I've been to Florida 9 times and New York 3 times .... however it's been 3 years since I was in Florida and I've never been with my Fiance (just my parents and sis).
I wanna plan a big holiday for next April/May time. We'd like to go to Florida together...do some of the parks and maybe a a few days at the beach. We'd also like to maybe do 3 days NYC and 2 days Washington (have cousin lives there but never been before). Been to NYC 3 times but I love it so much that I can't go all the way across the pond and not go to NYC.
We've also been thinking about the California area - not sure yet....never been but I think it's somewhere I'd love to....infact I know it's somewhere I'd love to go - mainly San Fran, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, L.A etc...
Probably wanna spend about 3 or so weeks in the States and get in as many different things as possible but I don't know where to start.
I keep saying to myself, Florida is a must but then I've been so many times, but then not with my Fiance and also I do kinda miss it! Same with New York - Been loads but it's somewhere I feel I needa go when I go to the States.
Any suggestions, different ideas... I'm open to other places/ideas... we're just two fun loving, sport people in need of a big holiday next year together!

You could easily spend 3 weeks just doing "San Fran, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, L.A etc... " without adding in Florida, NYC & Washington (I assume you mean DC rather than state)
There is so much to do on the west coast. You could do SF, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite NP, drive the Pacific Coast Highway to LA, then to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon in 3 weeks, that'd give you a few days in each location. That's without considering other places such as San Diego, Sequoia & Kings Canyon NP, Death Valley etc. Lots of info and ideas here
TBH I think you'd be stretching yourself too thin to try and fit it all in. I'd pick a coast, east or west, and stick to it.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -

Yeh I agree ... I'm having trouble trying to decide which coast ... basically I've been going to Florida since I was a kid - it was the first big holiday I ever went on and the first time I had been on a plane..it's kind of a special place to me I suppose and cos I haven't been in 3 years I'm torn between going back again, this time without parents, or going for an adventure somewhere I haven't been before. I think we'll do Washington no matter what as we have family there that we'd like to meet up with....
I love your ideas though for the West coast and I think they could be a real possibility!0 -
West coast beats East hands down (except New York!). Although when my little ladies get a little older I'm sure Florida will be in my plans! And I'm going on holiday to Virginia Beach / DC next week!
You could stop in NY and then fly on to Vegas / LA / San Fran.0 -
West Coast in April/May will be chilly - don't know if this is important to you ?0
