Bringing Upvc back to white

Any tips on bringing exterior Upvc back to white that has weathered over the years..?
I've found the off the shelf stuff doesn't work very well.

A window fitter once told me that Jif/Cif is as good as anything.
I think though , that once the frames have started to age/weather, I wonder whether they can really be brought back to life as such ?
I do think that a regular wash down does help.

hope this helps u in some way

I used to have a upvc manufacturing business and if we had a deep mark we had to get out, we could actually sand it down. To then get the original sheen back that is present when it comes off the extrusion lines we had an air polishing machine that we used with a fine compound. If you use jif for example you can get a buffing attachment for a regular drill from a car repair shop or even halfords. This will have it back like new, but will obviously take some time to do a house full of windows.
