main one- of concern- Will I be charged?

We will ensure that no customers will be out of pocket as a result of these issues.

We can confirm that any fees and charges incurred by customers will be fully refunded. This includes charges levied by a third party; for example, if you were late paying a non-RBS credit card or mortgage because your account wrongly showed there wasn't sufficient cash.

For our current account customers, we will automatically waive overdraft fees and charges.

Will my credit rating be impacted?

There should be no adverse impact to credit ratings as a result of this incident.

What does the Scroll Lock button do exactly..?
In my case, it lights up a little green light at the top of the keyboard.

This functions as a handy reminder that I've pressed the Scroll Lock key. Well I do tend to forget.

I don't even have a scroll lock button which says something about how useful it actually is

The scroll lock key is used in DOS and Linux/UNIX/UNIX-like systems. In text-only mode, it stops the screen from scrolling down so you can page through any text that otherwise would scroll off the screen quickly.

    SO now you know.

Excel uses it as well. I had it on by accident and it drove me nuts trying to find out why it was acting how it was. I even restarted my PC!
