Paypal... a problem maybe?

I have had a paypal account for years and I buy and sell on Ebay so I have received and sent many many payments throughout my time with them...

Today I tried to buy a buy a buy it now (immediate payment required item) only for Paypal to say...

"The amount of this transaction exceeds your remaining Sending Limit and cannot be processed at this time.

You will need to confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been confirmed, you can continue this payment."

How on earth has my sending limit been reached, I have a verified account?

I thought that the sending limit was £15 or so for new paypal accounts. Now they want me to watch out for the two deposits (2-5working days) on my statement to confirm my account... which I did a long long long time ago already!

Is this right?

Please help, I am totally confused!

I think its something to do with the change of policy on sending limits and verification which they did on 8th March...plenty of people are having problems
