Hi,
I hope I am posting in the correct forum.
I have checked my credit report today on noddle and I am scoring very low - 1 out of 5.
I have 6 accounts open which are all up to date (3 are not in use and I plan to close these ASAP in the hope that will help my credit rating).
The other bad thing on my report is a default back in 2009. I paid off this account in 2009.
Is this the only thing that would be affecting my credit score?
If so how long will it stay on there and finally is this the only thing why my rating woulf be so bad? I cant seem to find anything else i.e late payments however I didnt think a default would affect it so badly, a few years down the line.
Your help and comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks
