True, but the cpu/motherboard are the heart of any system, the better they are the more future proof you may have. The i3 2130 knocks the spots of the AMD 4100 processor

Thats ok, although i definitely would take the 8GB from that supplier because only then do you get to pick your RAM from a very small list ( Mushkin Silverline is pretty decent)
And replace the PSU it will be a cheap value brand junk that will prob catch fire at some stage.
The only downside, is socket 1155 is nearing replacement and while upgrades would be possible in later life the AM3+ platform at least has "Piledriver" to look forward too (here's hoping its significantly better than Bulldozer)0 -

It comes with Win 7 Home OEM - plus the upgrade to Win 8 when it arrives I think.
I appreciate what you say about the ebuyer machine - problem is I've had problems with them in the past with build quality/reliability. I think the extra few ££ are worth it for a decent build.0 -
