As an example No 3 suggests I have no problem with people being happy to take the risk by not having it. It's the idiots that think that as there is no family history of cancer for example that definitely means it will not happen to them those do !!!! me off but of course I would not in any way disclose my feeling to them. I just don't like people wit the attitude of god

You do see comments in the reclaim section from people saying that "they didnt need it". They seem to believer they are not going to die or suffer an illness etc.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

Its simple you dont know the details you dont comment on it, thats the professional approach. Im very happy with the successful outcome of the complaint and know the comments about it here are total nonsense. Also the second complaint is going very well too, just heard back about it. What bothers me is that people are getting unprofessional nonsense from anons here and will be put off from making a complaint that could turn out to be successful.
it would make the average Internet forum a rather quiet place.

Possibly the most ridiculous post of 2012.

If you don't want it discussing, don't mention it on a discussion forum.

Here is how I read this thread:

SaRaH: I don't want to pay for term assurance
Everyone else: You didn't, you paid for an endowment with compulsory term assurance, it's why the endowment was so cheap
SaRaH: But I don't want to pay for term assurance
Everyone else: But you didn't, and the product suited your needs
SaRaH: But I don't want to pay for term assurance and Halifax should have given me advice
Everyone else: They shouldn't give you advice if you're not actually requesting it.
SaRaH: BUT I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR TERM ASSURANCE AND HALIFAX SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ME ADVICE!!!!!!!!
    Everyone else: *mass suicide*
