By going very well, I bet she means she's had the "sorry we haven't come to a decision within the 8 weeks" letter.
Her posts from start to finish have really been quite comical ...

Pointless in engaging in further discussion with her. Even when its rejected she will come back and say see won anyway to save face. Thread has pretty much become pointless now.0

Its simple you dont know the details you dont comment on it, thats the professional approach. Im very happy with the successful outcome of the complaint and know the comments about it here are total nonsense. Also the second complaint is going very well too, just heard back about it. What bothers me is that people are getting unprofessional nonsense from anons here and will be put off from making a complaint that could turn out to be successful.
I think you may find the Jeremy Kyle forum more appropriate.
I suspect we will all be better off not posting any replies on the thread (starting from now!)
On a side point Holly goes into more detail than most on here and tends to be even handed - so not really warranting an attack..

It's people like you that damage it for the majority out there. Costs of products and services will be higher because of your try-it-on complaint. Administration will increase and more small print will be created and the average consumer will lose out.
Maybe mortgages should come with an IQ test. Then you would never have been put in this position as you wouldnt have got the mortgage in the first place.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

There are the following responses from my clients who refuse to take out life/critical cover:
1.It is too expensive I will rather have it with Xyz company ( I think: Fair enough we are not the cheapest)
2.I can not afford it at the moment but will definitely arrange it in the future(I think: That's fine as long as you will do it initially still better than nothing)
3.I do understand it's importance however because I have a higher priorities such as overpaying a mortgage I am happy to take a risk(I think: I really hope this will work and you will not become critically ill or die early)
4. I don't need it as I don't think I will die early or become critically ill as I am fit and healthy and/or there is no history of cancer/early death in my family so my am pretty confident I will not die early get a cancer etc( I thin: I hope it will actually be exactly you who will get it)0 -

That's pretty harsh. I would suggest to you to review how you sell insurance, it's not about predicting whether you will get a critical illness or die it's about buying peace of mind that if something like that happens then you do not have to worry financially.
If someone doesn't want to purchase that peace of mind then fair enough, after all, the stats are slightly loaded in favour of the insurers.
Of course, a critical illness or death can strike anyone at any time but there are those who are more predisposed than others so you have to consider it as value for money. Depends on your attitude to risk. The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. As an example No 3 suggests I have no problem with people being happy to take the risk by not having it. It's the idiots that think that as there is no family history of cancer for example that definitely means it will not happen to them those do !!!! me off but of course I would not in any way disclose my feeling to them. I just don't like people wit the attitude of god0 -
I think it's natural for many people under the age of 30 to think like that. If you've never been ill, never had a friend who has been seriously ill, never been affected by an early death it's extremely hard to visualise that as a concept and as the advisor you need to ask the hard questions.
Don't you have an 75% chance of not getting a critical illness before you are 65? Some people may think those are odds worth chancing. The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. The impression I get of them is that the chance is not 75% but 99.99%0
