If you have a solicitor dealing with this, ask them to hurry it up.
Otherwise contact them yourself and ask.0 -
Hi Mandy
I think the only people who will be able to answer this is Provident, as it all depends on their internal processes. Just keep chasing them.
Good luck.

Ask you Solicitor to contact them as they will have a contact at provdent and get them to do a BACS payment on they next payment batch which i think most companys do weekely and usually payment is in the account within 3 working days rather than waiting a week to receive a cheque and another week for the bank to clear the chequeTotal Debt in June 2013: Barclaycard 0% until Nov 2014: £1550
Tesco CC: £1200 0% Until March 2014
HSBC CC: £384 25%APR - TARGET to make GREEN ASAP0 -

how long do a BACS payment take ?0

BACS payments tend to clear in 2 business days. So if on Monday they said they'd send the payment in a couple of days, we may assume that they sent it Wednesday. If so, your solicitor should have received it Friday. If this is the case, I assume he wouldn't have been able to send the payment to you the same day?0
