As title says, think he has done a runner, there are a lot of very angry and disappointed customers(myself included) that have forked out for the car wash/valet offers and haven't been able to use them all:mad:
Anyone else heard anything?

I haven't heard anything. But that sounds very unfair. They only just recently started selling annual car washing passes for 50 squids.
I guess there will be a few people losing out there then.0 -
Have driven past it the last few days and the shutters are down,no explanation or anything.
Maybe if the owner sold his Range Rover Sport with personalized plates we might get, some of our money back;)0 -
its deffo closed
its in the local paper this week.
he is trying to sort out the vouchers but it doesn;t sound hopeful about getting cash back0 -

I also very recently bought the £50 unlimited washes deal. Thankfully I used my credit card, so I'm hoping theres some sort of help there (but there may be a minimum item price before that kicks in?).
Please, keep this thread updated with what you find out. I'll see if I can get the paper this week.0 -
Read about it in the local rag,he says he will reimburse as many people as possible, but doesn't say how to contact him to make a claim for reimbursement, very helpful,NOT:mad:0

Just rang the credit card company ... they said they will send out a "Declaration form" which I am to fill in with details, and send back. They will launch an investigation and try to claim the money back. If they are unable to claim the money back, they will reimburse me themselves. So basically I should get the full amount back.0 -

That's good news. A bit of hassle but at least you know it'll be sorted one way or the other.0 -

Actually, there was an explanation put up on a small shop style stand. It said something about a critical machine part being broken and a replacement was being ordered but it would take time. They put this up the week just before the jubilee holidays and said they were taking that time as a good time to fix it and it would be back up and running the week after. Obviously that didn't happen, but that was the one and only update that I saw.0 -
I have just joined this forum and spotted it by chance ,so glad I did
my daughter bought my a £50.00 pass for unlimited washes for Christmas
and up until a month before the closure they were still selling them .In view of the information we now know I personally think he knew he was going under and this was a good way of getting a lot of extra cash0
