Sorry, could someone tell me if the claim form is a ccj?xx
It sounds like you've received a claim form - not the CCJ itself. This should tell you who are claiming (and how much) and should give instruction on how to defend, if you intend to. It should also give details of how to pay in full.
As the others have said, once judgement is awarded you have 28 to pay in full to have it removed from your credit file.
The best course of action, if you can afford it, is to call the company who are named on the claim form and tell them you intend paying in full. Then send a copy of your receipt to both the court and the company who have taken action. Send recorded and keep a copy. After a week check both have received the payment and the receipt and that no further action will be taken.0 -
Not a CCJ yet.
A claim form it just that. It sets out what the creditor is claiming, says to you they have started proceedings to get a CCJ, and give to a change to admit, make an offer or defend the court action.
It's only if you make an admission/offer, do nothing, or defend and lose in court that the creditor will/can then have the court issue a CCJ.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

From http://www.trustonline.org.uk/understand-judgments-fines/ccjs-what-are-they/Court forms
When someone takes a County Court action against you, you'll be sent a CCJ Claim Form. This court form will explain how much the creditor says you owe them.
You're also sent an Admission Form. Don't ignore this form - send it back within 14 days. If you're late, the CCJ may be issued anyway in a default judgment.
This form is your chance to put your side of the story before the CCJ is decided on.
andYour CCJ options
You have 5 options:
Pay in full You can choose to pay the amount in full straight away (plus any interest and court fees shown). If you do, you don't need to send the forms back. There won't be a court hearing and you won't have a CCJ recorded against you.
Ask to pay later or in instalments If you want to offer to do this, fill out the form saying how you'd like to pay. A CCJ will be issued.
Hope this helps. :beer:Mortgage deposit pot June 2012 = almost there.

Hello there,
If you think you might not be bale to pay the judgment off within the 28 days, and if your total debts fall below £5,000 you might be able to consider something called an Administration Order:
You can get an administration order if:- you have at least two debts;
- you have at least one county court or High Court judgment against you;
- the total of your debts is less than £5,000.
Whilst an administration order is in place, none of the creditors listed on it can take any action against you without first getting the court's permission. Visits from debt collectors, letters or phone calls from your creditors should stop once the administration order is in place.- Having an administration order can save you a lot of time and trouble as the court deals with your debts on your behalf.
- Any interest and other charges that were being added on to the debts are stopped.
- It can also save you money if you were spending a lot on postage or on bus fares to make your payments.
- You do not have to pay a fee up front to the court for an administration order. The court will take a handling fee of ten pence out of every pound you pay in over the time the order lasts. This means the handling fee is 10% of your total debts. The fee is deducted from your payments into the court.

You should be able to get this paid over 3 months without getting a ccj registered.
Pay £133 now
Acknowledge service on the N9 saying that you intend to partially defend the claim. This gives you 28 days from service (5 days after issue date) to respond.
Fill out the n9b admitting £267 only
Pay another £133
A month later, pay the rest, inform court and claimant.
Courts don't move that fast. I can't see that you'll go more than 28 days after judgement without paying as long as you keep to that schedule0
