My current account is sitting on 7p, my employer banks with RBS and so do I, my tax credits from last Tuesday have vanished lol!
  • i got my income support through today and i'm with Natwest. have you tried ringing up DLA to ask if there a problem. I had this a few weeks ago where my DLA didn't go in and they said it was a computer glitch and paid it in for me later that day

My Child Benefit and Carers Allowance went into the bank today (I'm with Halifax), if you haven't received your DLA yet I would give them a ring.

My IS did not go into my account today, I bank with Halifax. I rang them at 8.30am and spent 30 minutes on hold at 12p a minute:mad: When I eventually got answered they asked me a load of security questions before they would deal with the call. Including what was the postcode of my last address that I moved from 8 years ago!!!!! After deciding I had passed their security procedure he said I'll just have a look at why you haven't been paid, which was immediately followed by the payment team will give you a call in the next 3 hours and tell you:mad: I mean come on what is the matter with these people.

Anyway the payment team rang me about an hour later to advise that my payment had been sent late, which was their fault and it would be in my account on Wednesday:eek:. I was just about to blast her into next week when she said if that is no good, I can recall that payment and pay the money into your account today, can't say exactly what time but it's usually within 2 hours. So that was what happened.

So obviously they hadn't paid me and had sent the payment today but why not just send it via faster payment in the first place??? Oh and the other thing was she said we can only send it today if your account isn't overdrawn. what difference that makes I don't know but there you go. The laughable thing was it could have been overdrawn due to them not paying me, I had DD's go out today and tomorrow but I always leave the money in at the start of the month, which is just as well.

It is not right that mistakes like this should be happening, people rely on their money being credited when it is supposed to be it benefits or salaries, anyway rant over:D
