If you have a chandlers near you they often sell a tar remover ... as often needed by ... old tarsYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0

I used to use eucalyptus oil to remove tar from clothing. It worked a treat. No idea if it would work on floorboards but it is fairly cheap for a small bottle and might be worth a try?0

We used an electric planer on it yesterday which seems to be, in conjunction with everything else we have tried, cutting through it quite well :j
Still going to need a good ol' sanding but we'll get there eventually0 -
