Wait till you are inviolved in TUPE, redeployment, redundacy, layoff/short time situations or a combination then the fun starts.
eg: service for notice and redundancy are based on different dates.
Anyway next/this time read the contract and query things if not clear.
The other thing is remember now you have things sweet try to keep it that way so be prepared to be a bit flexable if needed.
Burning bridges can stay with you a long time.
The people you work with will move on and you never know when you end up working or interviewing with them again especialy in some lines of work.0 -
Surely you will just end up with a full months money if holiday is paid?
Turned out I had used some holidays near to xmas. and had a few half days. So i was left with 11.5 days holiday paid. so im working until 10th monday to fri. then upto the 25th at normal rate of pay in holidays. i get to work whatever shifts i want on my last days. got it all in writing.debt free wanabeee0
