since i had to reconfigure our router from wpa to a wep my printer wont print
any help to over come this

The simplest thing to do first rather than messing about configuring is to uninstall the printer entirely and reinstall onto your wireless network using the drivers/installation files.0 -

i have unistalled the printer, and went through the stages to install it wont let me even with the usb connection instead of wireless

Was the printer connected by USB but switched off until it asked you to connect the printer, usually with a box on the top left of the screen?
Some Epson's will set the wireless up provided it is connected by USB initially0 -

printer was switched on with usb connected, i went up to the stage where it was to go wireless and could not pass this, so tried to connect with usb setting no joy with that either.
under advice i had to change the router to wep because the computor i have would not connect to internet, its one i have not used for a while and my other one broke. since i did this i cant print

it is not installed at all, it is a hp deskjet 3050 i will have a go with it switched of
