Which Travel Insurance?

I'm looking for an annual policy for a couple covering Worldwide. I've been on moneysupermarket and the cheapest is around £44.
My question is, are the unknown companies reliable or is it safer to go with the well known ones?
Thanks

I've had several diferent ones, not needed to make any claims, so my experience tells me that I may as well buy the cheapest. Then again, I always make sure we are covered for at least £2m health care. There are several in the saturday papers, from £29 p year
