We have booked a 4 day midweek holiday at butlins Bognor Regis. Rather than trying to travel on the Monday via m25 with the traffic we would like to travel on the Sunday and stay somewhere south of m25 on the Sunday night. I have never been to this part of the country before and wondered where might be nice to visit for a day/night.
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks
Somewhere in the Downs? Arundel's quite nice.
However, loads of Londoners go away for the weekend so roads towards London and the M25 can be really busy on Sunday evenings so try to get beyond London before too late.0 -

How old are the kids?
lively town, lots of nice restaurants, good playground at the top of the beach..

My little one is only 15 months so not doing much at the moment. Thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully by September he will be walking so we can do more.0
