Redundancy - WTC & JSA - confused

Hi
I've recently been made redundant and been paid PILON until 30th Sept.

Haven't got a clue where to start really.

We get WTC and CTC as my husband has a low paid job.

Do I sign on now? WTC would be more than JSA each week - just but I am worried about taking the drop in case I can't find work.

Would we lose WTC?

I am hoping to get a part time job if I can - just to keep us going for now until a more suitable job arises.

As I have taken PILON - this seems to have taken off NI and TAX off the lump sum - so not sure what I am to do.

I am having to keep my little boy in childcare to keep his place (again for when I start working again).

Sorry - this is a bit all over the place but want to do the right thing xx

As your not working you won't be entitled to help via tax credits for the childcare. So you will have to let them know you aren't working.
