1 night away for a group of 8 - South West

Looking for some ideas of places to stay away for the night probably in the South West just for 1 night. It's for a group of 4 couples and we don't mind sharing all together or having separate rooms. Just looking for a cheap night away near the shops for the girls and some nice restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Any ideas would be gratefully received!
