Hi, I'm currently trying to make as much money as possible in order to save up to fund my PhD. My target is to have £15,000. I have £4000 in an ISA from last year (didn't max it out stupidly), £3100 in an ISA for this year and am going to put more in, and 2800 in another account. I'm owed around 1300 in a tax rebate too.…

Probably too early for this, but remember when you start your PhD, your stipend is usually tax free.

If you are below the limit for tax, fill in an R85 form at your bank to get your interest gross.
