Most of the whole event was utter rubbish, as per usual, but you're right - this sketch not only fell flat but was insensitive and completely offensive. It's about time RG realised that "sending up" his own image has also become tiresome and unfunny. Can't help wondering if Geldof and Bono having seen the finished item regret being in it.

at least gervias insn't a hypocrite like st.bono and bob "the 2nd coming" geldof. i really despise them two. Bono alone is worth 10 times the £40 million raised but he'd rather concern himself with investing in forbes magazine and moving his millions to tax havens.
