Cataract treatment

  • How do you tell when your cataract has deteriorated sufficiently to benefit from an operation? I could stamp my feet and demand an op, but I'd look pretty stupid if I end up worse off.

At the moment I can still pass the driving requirement with my bad eye only and no glasses on, but I struggle with close up work if it requires stereo vision.

Having mine done at 7.30 a.m in the morning and although feeling a little apprehensive I can't wait to get it done.
Try and do a good deed every day.
