Hi, am moving house and looking for an ornate French style bed. Needless to say, money is tight, all the usual bed places are waaaay out of my range. OH not at all keen on second hand. Any suggestions apart from forget it

I would say auctions is the way to go,furniture prices are low at the moment.
You could always take it to a restorers to get it "cleaned up"!0
