Petrol in diesel

I once put £7.00 worth of unleaded into a diesel before i realised! filled up the tank with diesel and hoped for the best.
So far, 3 years later, still ok!0 -
Diesels are absolutely fine up to about 20% petrol - in fact, in cold climates they intentionally add kerosene or petrol to keep the diesel from gelling.
Many people who run their cars on vegetable oil routinely add 5-10% petrol to thin the fuel down.
In short... as others have said, don't worry about it
