3.5 bar is around 50psi, if you put just under 3.6 bar then you're up to 53psi. Allow 5% for tolerances on the one you used to read and the one you inflated with and you're at 58psi
Most digital machines have the option to display the pressure in in bar or psi, you just need to press the button to alternate between the two.
Hmmm....may be I have done that, not sure. I need to be careful from next time. Lesson learnt.0 -
I'm surprised you didn't shake your teeth out driving around with solid balloons like that for a fortnight. My car, even with its special, self pressure-reducing, rear alloys is very noticeabley uncomfortable if I put them to 35psi.
I did notice a difference. But since it was for the first time I inflated them to 35, I thought thats how it feels at 35.

Have you reduced them to 35 yet?0

You must have driven there.
I use the supermarket air machine to do our tyres. Supermarket is half a mile away and the speed doesn't exceed 30mph en route. The tyres are hardly burning by the time I arrive.0 -

Yes, they are back to what it should be. I am thikning of buying one of those compact air compressors (saw one on a highstreet store for £9). Are they any good?0 -

I've had mine donkey's years, and paid £20 back then.
You'll need to check it's still in calibration spec every now and again though. Fortunately I can do that at work.0 -

I dont think I have any means of dong that, will probably have to stick to tesco for now0 -
Do yourself a favour, get a decent foot pump and a quality BSI manufactured pressure guage. Petrol station air pumps are rubbish.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
