I'm with RBS and this exact thing happened to me. Leaving me with next to nowt in my account.

It appeared late morning on Friday, so I paid my bills, then it disappeared today when I check it this morning.

Thanks - good to know it's not just me -it seemed a bit odd to disappear like that.

Thanks I will try that - but will they pay out on a rbs account? I live 12 miles from Nat west and 20 miles from rbs and have no petrol so I have to cadge a lift -I live in the back of beyond lol.

Do check it is open before going then!

Yes, we had a communication from head office just after 5pm today giving us the procedures for cash withdrawals for RBS (and ulster bank) customers.

ID, cheque book and card is all you need. If you get problems tell them to check their branch email from just after 5 today.

We're not allowed to say what the withdrawal limit is but suffice to say it is high enough to 'keep you going' for a while.

Thanks for that - I only need a few pounds to tide me over but we don't know how long this is going on for -should I take out more just in case?
