List of Companies Who Use Hermes Delivery

ConfusedAgain

So after another *fantastic* experience with Hermes (I could rant and rave all day about what a poor joke their service is in my area but there's already an 46 page thread about it here for your enjoyment), I've decided to stop using them as much as possible or, if I have to, to get them to deliver to my alternative address which they're usually pretty good with.
Unfortunately, I usually don't find out that they are the courier of the company's choice until I received my dispatch email - by which time, it's already fallen into their grubby little hands never to be seen again (or at least not until over a month and a very long angry exchange of emails with the retailer later). Therefore, it would really help if I knew a) which retailers contract with these jokers and b) whether they have an alternative.
I have already discovered, much to my dismay, that the following use Hermes:
- Boohoo (I can't remember there being an alternative for delivery but it was a while back)
- Glossybox (No alternative method to deliver)
- ASOS (Several delivery choices, the cheapest uses Hermes but not sure about the rest)
Are there any other names to add to the list so I can avoid at all costs?
Thank you!

Debenhams were using them (don't know if they still are?). I had a nightmare experience with them around Christmas time last year.0

Comet, Betterware and Iris group coming to Hermes soon.
I'm sure I've missed a few.
I think our popularity is because Hermes negotiate a cheap price with companies and then allow the self employed courier to deliver at a reduced price, without any consultation with the workers, we could take it or leave it of course.
If you have a really bad courier complain, if you have a really good courier, don't waste their time, Deliveries are either 8am-6pm, no times can be selected or 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm we're not paid enough to arrange times.
Not all companies but some do allow a different delivery method at an extra cost or an alternative address were someone is available.
That's what I do and have no problem(I work 8am-6pm) so wouldn't expect to receive my delivery unless it was a company with a collect depot or if it's urgent I pay £10-12 for a Sat morning delivery.
You could read many pages of complaints about any delivery company and if you go on forums many pages of complaints about customers.0 -
