What do you think this is about!?

Following on from that '£100 delivered to your door' thread I found this one!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120094722244&ssPageName=MERCOSI_VI_ROSI_PR4_PCN_BIX&refitem=230102976118&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&refwidgettype=osi_widget

I think its just telling you to buy through paypal and do a chargeback?! or something similar!!!

Why can't ebay just a be a simple buying/selling place without you getting ripped off?!

what do you guys think?!

  • Sounds very dodgy doesn't it. I love ebay but I would be very cautious about buying/selling items of high value because I'm so worried about getting scammed. As you say it must be a chargeback scheme, saying they never received the item. Very worrying for sellers!

someone posted this auction last week....he may be talking about freecycle, or a list of freebie sites.

Its such good info that rather than do it himself and become a millionaire he wants to share it with the world for £2.99 - yeah right.

Sounds like hes giving you tips on how to write begging letters, lol.

    Check out his other auctions!!
  • Funny that if you go to feedback and check out the people who were happy with their purchase that they too are also selling these 'get rich quick schemes'.
  • he's describing it as though its a freecycle thing.

i hope he's not encouraging chargebacks, thats just gutless and cheap low behaviour.

You would be buying a guide that he has written.

It may be one page of A4 saying 'put an auction like this on e-bay'!!!!
