In response to Lincolnshire_poacher.
The problem some face, is that as soon as they obtain any form of low paid work, is that they lose any benefits and have to pay council tax etc.
Silly system if you ask me. I think the government are looking to change this.
Some of the cash in hand jobs are part of the black economy. So be careful, if you are claiming benefits and then don't disclose. If you get caught, you would be faced with prosecution. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -

you want to work with computers, do you have any programming / scripting languages under your belt.
hows your written English? are you a confident writer?
where in the uk are you?
their is always work available. may not be nice may not be pretty but their really isnt an excuse to claim benefits for more than a couple of months unless you physically cant do anything.
people just don't like the work available
PM me Im sure I can help you out someway. even if its just handing out flyers
Regarding the computers, no. I was referring more to general knowledge and the speed of which I learn. I can use most programs as well.
I would say my written English is more than adequate (I hope
).
I have only been claiming for a couple of months, that's why I want to come off it and get a job0 -

In this climate being whiter than white isn't going to get you to far and so long as its legal it doesn't always have to be ethical.
do you have interests or hobbys which are unusal which you could write about.
I asked for a pm because i didn't know if you wanted to say where you live in public.
I only ask about your written english because those with dispraxia often also have deslexia (although dispraxia effects hand eye coordination as opposed to grammar)
The only interest I have is computing (I've done a bit of web design and graphic design, nothing trained, just as an off-side hobby... I enjoy being on the computer, period. Writing etc, you name it, I'll do it!), I've put that on my CV, but haven't been able to put anything else. I'm looking into volunteering temporarily to get some work experience, but I don't know which will be worth doing?0
