My Barclaycard Platinum 0% period ends next month. I also have debt from my 'spending' card that I'd like to shift (total of both comes to just under 5k). B'card are offering further 6 months of 0% on a balance transfer or 6.9% on lifetime of total debt. I want to rationalise this debt and get it in one place. Maybe switch both to a new long period card? If anyone has any tips on what might be best to do I'd appreciate it.
thanks

It all depends on if you can pay off within the 0% period. Might be a better idea to transfer b/card to your spending card (if possible) and then transfer back to b/card at 6.9%, you'd have to pay 2 transfer fees so factor that into the equation. HTH0

would that mean that i take the scissors to the barclaycard in meantime and then return to them with fresh application. my virgin spending card are offering a BT deal at the moment but I'd then have to find a new spending card ??
thanks for earlier reply0
