Help! Travel back from Sicily

I have a daughter in Italy working for a slightly sus italian company. Although this was not the deal in the beginning, they are now saying that the employees (all young foreign nationals on an educational touring theatre deal) all have to get themselves home if they want to at Easter. My daughter has ended up in Sicily and will now have to cough up to get back to the uk, one of the dearer points of departure. Anyone any thoughts? She wants to depart thursday April 4th or if not poss, then the 5th at the latest. She has little money and they will not be allowed to use the company vehicle even for a short distance so travelling back to the mainland is not particularly easy. All help appreciated.:o

I think Ryanair fly Sicily - Stansted but I have no idea of their prices for the Easter weekend. Best check out their site https://www.ryanair.com0
