Sat 23/ Sun 24 June What small DFW things will you do today ?!?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

    Hi everyone :hello:

Thanks for starting us off Zigster :)

Wannabe - were you asking about how to make money from home yesterday? Do you want to make extra 'pocket money' or would you consider becoming self employed? I'd go for the usual e-bay selling etc and I'd also recommend mystery shopping (http://www.emysteryshopper.com/register.php this one is online so you don't even need to leave home). Surveys from Pinec0ne are good too - £3 a pop - I'll invite you the next time I get the chance.

DNMS - Have fun wallpapering with your DD :D

Starnac - Make the most of your 'free' time :)

Natlie - I hear ya - my payday is Monday..

Jonno - I do wonder where everyone has gone - maybe there is some nice weather somewhere in the country and everyone has gone there :rotfl:

    Here's my listypoparoo:
    - Toast with cheapo bread - just found out the bakery at the top of the street sells yesterday's bread for a third of the price :T
    - Drove OH to his mate's house with car we borrowed - saving 2 bus fares
    - Surveys
    - Made a weetabix cake
    - Didn't buy a bottle of wine at the shops
    - Cooking up a batch of mushrooms I got cheap - soup perhaps
    - Got a free rosemary plant :D
    - Reading library books
    - Reading half price mag I got with MOC - wild Saturday night!

    A big favour plea!!
Pretty please could you go to this page if you are on facebook and like the picture of my puppy http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=432684593429599&set=a.423532111011514.98070.135061193191942&type=1&theater

Hey Ziggs - hope you're feeling better than yesterday?

    Yay on DD, DNMS!

Sounds like money well spent, Wannabe.

Today isnt particularly MSE but not too bad, essentially spending it working in a cafe with a friend. Need to catch up as have had trouble focusing this week, what with all the job hunting on.

    Anyway, in MSE this weekend:
    - keep trying to avoid being sick, lots of juice!
    - bike everywhere I need to go
    - dinner at a friends tonight for her birthday if it stops raining (BBQ)
    - meal plan
    - work out something non-pasta to do with leftover meatballs, any ideas?
    - do some life admin stuff that has been lapsing

Hugs to all that need them.
