Some off-airport parking companies do valet parking, where they pick up and drop off your car right at the terminal. It costs a bit, so the overall cost may not be any cheaper, though over 2 weeks, it may be.

Another option would be on street parking in a nearby town or village and then a taxi or bus to the airport, Trent Barton have a bus service called sky link that calls at most of the nearby places takea look at a map, to see what you can find if you want you can use street view on google maps for a better idea.

clem, don't forget that newer buses all "kneel" to allow the disabled and those with prams easy access. It's worth checking that they are available.

    Edit: Thanks, Chris.

I would recommend airparks. A 5 minute bus ride away and their buses are disabled friendly and the staff are great.

We have used them for years and wouldnt use anyone else. x I might have a voucher code lurking as well I will go look for you x

  • look on East Midlands website at FAQ's for parking. There is an option to book shuttle park and pay that price but park in the short stay just over the road from the arrivals and departures halls:j:T

This seems to have re-appeared, did the OP ( origanal poster) have any luck with parking/off site parking?
Therer are plenty of places available, from the nearby villages of Castle Donnington, Kegworth, Breedon on the hill, Hemmington, Melbourne, worthington, and Wilson ( to name but a few)

As for the airport itself, i was driving past there earlier today, while stopped at the traffic lights i noticed a large sign with tiny writing on (APCOA something or other) as well as the old These roads are private sign.
If the APCOA sign is supposed to be the Terms adn conditions that they try and use to enforce their unenforcable guff, how on earth are drivers suposed to read it?
let alone comprehend it. not safe.

  • parkatmyhouse would have cost about 50 to £60 for 2 weeks and many owners will give you a lift to the terminal building in a car
