    Welcome to caleyles and newleafmum.
Just catching up with yesterdays news, hope you are all ok with the rain we are having, it has rained here for days now - thunder and lightening yesterday too.

Went out after work yesterday so will be having a very quiet day today, went for a drink and something to eat about half 4 and didn't get in till half 1! Still, it was very good company and ended up with dancing and I don't do it often.

DD gone off to work, DS2 has my car and is with GF and her parents on Skye - hope they find enough to do in the rain, it could be miserable.

Hugs to those having a tough time, hope things improve for you.

    Take care. XX

    Heyyy everyone!

Was so lovely earlier, clouded over slightly now. Up at 6am :) walked the dog, had a quick chat with my friend - we are going wine tasting later! and have done the housework.

Load 2 in the WM - think there is about 10 to get through this weekend!! Hope the rain stays off so I can get them dried!

OH is at work, I guess it will be a late one for him as we're due more rain.

    Hope everyone is okay.

lboppy - whereabout are you? I'm in Llanelli, no rain yet but the clouds are dark and grey!

I went out to meet my friends, glad I did as I feel much brighter now :). I bought my flakey friend a scarf, ring and cookbook for her birthday, all costing just under £10!

Going to read on sofa for awhile before I need to get ready to go out later.

    Evening all

Busy day so have only just got on here. so what have I done today?
Well,l a friend came for coffee this morning to show me her baby daughter who is almost 5 months old and a real sweetie. She is called Beni. They are visiting the UK from Japan and I saw her in January when I visited my DD so lovely to meet the "bump"!

They do say nothing tidies a house like company coming LOL!

Before that the plasterer came to drop off the materials so he can make a good start on our bedroom first thing Monday morning. We shall be sleeping in DS's room on Sunday night and for a few days after while the plaster dries. He is on holiday so good timing all round.

After lunch we went to Wells and I had my hair cut. Yay it's just long enough for the stylist to use straighteners. Straighteners Moi?

Back home now and OH is just dishing up quiche, salad and chips. Hg lettuce and radish. Yum!

Hugs to all. Have a good evening.

Afternoon everyone (or is it evening),

Hester glad the cake went down well.

    Pookyglad DD is better.

Spent a lovely day in town with DD1 getting gifts for the German family that she is off to stay with next week. We also had lunch at P**za Ex****s using vouchers form Mr T which was great.

DD2 has rung from her netball competition at Pontins in Weston Super Mare and told me that her team has finished in the top half so will be in the difficult competition tomorrow! She was really pleased and so was their coach.

Don't know what we are having for tea, it is only me, DS and OH. Waiting for OH to return from football to make a decision.

    Hugs to all in need.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.:)
