Reclaiming money cross-border through small claims - Advice Please

Hello.
firstly I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I would be grateful if anyone could advise me on this.
I have decided to make a claim to the Small Claims Court after all attempts to recover money from the now bust Savastore (Owned by Watford Electronics, now Globally Limited) have failed. I have both written to them generally asking for a refund, called them and written to them expressing my intention to file a legal claim against them.
The research I have done has led me to conclude that I cannot make a claim through the County Court, as I am not a resident of England and Wales. But I do not know if the same cross-border restriction applies to the Sherriff Courts in Scotland.
Could someone who is perhaps more experienced in this area than myself possibly advise on this?
Thanks.

Know me for who I am, not for who I say I am.
