Unfair defaults and how to get rid of them ?

Hi there. I honestly couldnt be bothered reading through all of these posts so sorry if some of this has been answered...
But it is possible to have a default removed from your credit report and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
If you didn't receive a default letter in the post, then they haven't notified you correctly. Send a letter to the credit reference agency in question stating you didn't receive this, and the creditor will have to prove that you did in order for the default to remain. Hunt around on here there will be a template somewhere.
If they didn't follow proceedure correctly you might get lucky. I did with a default from Lloyds TSB by contacting Experian.
I think the issue here is though that you need to LEARN from this situation, and LEARN how to manage money properly. If you don't do this it's not just the next 6years you need to worry about.
Good luck0
