Unfair defaults and how to get rid of them ?

The amount of credit extended on a mobile phone contract is very small (limited to one month?), so your statement is flawed somewhat.
But back to your LTSB default...it won't be removed, even with a complaint referred to the FOS/ICO. You asked them to pay a bill (via the aforementioned 'informal overdraft' request). They paid it for you. They then charged you as per their published tariff. You then didn't pay LTSB back (for some considerable time).
Time to move on?
Letting agents cant see defaults, only ccjsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -
To save any new transactions, anything set u ppreviously will often be honoured.
Ive set up a payment arrangement with a PDL to clear a debt but also cancelled my card due to another stupid mistake,i contacted them to get their bank details so i can pay by standing order-if they decide to take the monthly payment anyway it will come from the account linked to my old debit card?:beer:0 -

There is no site "claiming" to remove defaults it just tells you how.
You have to do it yourself.0 -
OP learn from your bad experiences and dont make the same mistakes again.
Borrowing money when you know you cant repay it on its repayment date is an automatic default.
Even it was to stop you being evicted or feeding a 1 day old baby, its still a default if you dont pay it back when its due.0 -
A continuous payment authority is best cancelled through your bank. They Will inform the company that you are cancelling all payments and note this on your file. They are still notoriously hard to stop with some companies but as you have recorded it with the bank they Will claim any payments back on request.
Maybe as the advice on this thread is not appreciated, the poster should inform us of exactly what he wants to hear and we can follow suit?0 -
I think we know what the OP wants to hear. Unfortunately for him/her, the OP has not heard and is not going to hear, what they want to hear. If you know what I mean. Hence the OP's bad tempered responses.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
OP, can you articulate why you think the defaults are unfair?
They complied with the T&Cs of the contract you signed - evidently you didn't.
Even if you think it is "sharp" practice, unfair etc. does not necessarily make it so. You DID default and hence having defaults registered against you seems apt.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

Clearly I was wrong its here to chastise people and tell them they have been naughty then make sure they are aware of the consequences of their actions.
